So I have decided to stop being such a stick in the mud and start doing some of the things I have always wanted to do but have been to scared to do (sort of like my own personal bucket list) and the first thing on my list is going sky diving, do you know if you can go sky diving if you have cystic fibrosis??? And if you can, is there anyone here who has actually done it??? Of course I am going to ask my doctors but I am curious if anyone has looked into it at all. Thanks

Unless you are on constant O2 you should be fine.

The planes don't go that high, but if you have low O2 stats you might have issues breathing.

As long as you can tolerate that there is nothing stopping you.

Good luck!

This is funny that you brought this up! My Zoe (5) has been telling my husband and I lately things she wants to do....go to Disney World, go to Hawaii, and top- of her list is to "jump out of an airplane with that big puffy thing to make her fly through the sky"...LOL! She is quite insistent on it...which if you knew Zoe, she is kind of more of a reserved kind of girl.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
Sorry, don't have the answer to your ??, but like Tom said, unless you are on O2, I wouldn't think it would be off limits...but I'd talk to my doc about it.

Good luck!
