Sleep Study-gonna be a long night

Austin had his sleep study done and it was not that bad at all. The guy that took care of him was great with Austin. He hooked up all these wires and stuff and put a wrap around his head. They also had a tv in the room but it had to be turned off at a certain time.

It was really surprising to me that Austin pretty much fell asleep right away. I thought that was unusual for him. LOL! Me on the other hand well, I felt weird with the camera on Austin and wondered if they could see me on it or wondering if I snored. LOL!

I had a really nice bed to sleep in also. It had a remote control on it to adjust the firmness of the mattress. You were not allowed to make any adjustments though after the child fell asleep. Austin slept really well.

It was funny though because he was talking in his sleep a few times. And I only recall one time that the guy came in the room and that was when Austin was talking in his sleep and was scratching at the wires on his head. So the guy came back in to readjust the leads.

So all in all our experience was good.

Overall it was not too bad.

He went to sleep pretty well, and didn't do too bad. I had a chair/bed that sucked so I didn't sleep much.

Beyond that my biggest issue was that he has major CF GI issues and we had to use a bedpan once they got him hooked up. Not an experience I want to repeat.

Otherwise, we survived and I'm at work today, glazed eyes and not very tolerant of stupid people (based upon fight this morning in office) but here none the less.
