I know we have been speaking about Sweden lately here and their aggressive stance with antibiotics.

They also supplement heavily with essential fatty acids. This study shows their wise insight...

Thanks Amy! I believe supplementing with these is a good idea too. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Do they use fish oil as their way of supplementing?

I just bought some organic flaxseed oil for my daughter, after reading this this article I am glad I did (even though she is not an adult). Its advantage over fish oil sees to be that it cannot contain any mercury or metals as fish can.

Will see how it goes.

There's quite a few other studies that show the effectiveness of EFA's, and they have been around for a while. I've also been interested lately in thiocynate and it's role in inflammation (found quite extensively in broccoli). Sounds pretty promising, and have started incorporating a ton of broccoli into my diet lately. I think if we curb the inflammation, we solve a lot of problems....
