I can tell the difference between a throat infection and a lung infection in Andrew because his throat infection smells very foul, where his lung infections smell more, I guess you could say sweet? Still gross, but sweet.

Oh I can definitely smell my mucous...perhaps having a trache makes this more noticable. Mine smells like garlic as well as a sweet rotten grape smell which I have determined to be cepacia or other bugs from the pseudo family. I can actually taste the critters when infection is getting out of control...I know..gross! Jenn <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
