Hello,

Just curious for those of you on assistance SSDI or SSI whether or not you tell your friends and family AND how you tell them and what you tell them?

Thanks,

I actually dont tell alot of people unless they completely understand my situation. My big thing that I say is that I am a "Domestic Goddess". Some people say I am a stay at home Mom or I often say I dont work anymore.

I found that the disability issue brings along in the conversation that isnt always pleasant so I choose that very wisely. My CF is an open book, but my SSDI isnt.

A lot of people know that I am on disability and it doesn't really bother me because most of my family and friends think that I should have gone on it a long time ago. I didn't go on disability until after I had Brady because that is when I really needed to go on it. But anyway, it doesn't bother me that people know.
