I wonder if they will give you medicaid if you dad says that you rent off of him, that he doesn't pay for any of your expenses. My mother lives with my brother and that's how she gets medicaid. My brother basically wrote a letter saying that she paid x amount a month for rent, x amount for food, etc...Otherwise, she wouldn't have been able to get medical benefits. It is worth checking into......Good luck, sucks that we have to jump through hoops of fire to get the help we need, doesn't it?

Have you paid taxes the whole time though? If not you are out of luck with get SSDI. You can probably till get SSI though....

JustDucky is on the money though.... follow her advise. Just say you rent from your parents etc... you should be able to get food stamps this way too.

Thanks guys. And yes I am going to have my parents write a letter stating such and yeah it does totally suck we have to go through so much trouble to get aproved for such little ****
