frequent urination and being exhausted.......symptoms of diabetes. You should check that out if they have not already. I know this is easier said than done...but, if that is what it is then you can go right to the source and start feeling better relatively soon. You will be amazed at how controlling blood sugars add to your energy and health. Like the previous poster said....it is really not that big of a deal. truly. Again, I know it is hard not to worry about the unknown; but, YOU will have the upper hand in CF IF you have the knowledge about what your body needs.

The CF Foundation says ALL CF adults need an Oral Glucose Tolerance Test once a year. Not a finger prick to test your sugar - a 2 hour Oral Glucose Tolerance Test.

If you haven't had one in the past 12 months:

#1 Smack your doctor as hard as you can

#2 Ask him or her why he or she isn't looking out for your health and/or following CFF recommendations

#3 As for a 2 hour OGTT

Take care

Well I have been out of the hospital for over a month now or I would totally agree with you Lance.

When I was in the hospital I asked she had some concerns b/c of my weightloss and we thought diabetes BUT she said some number in my bloodwork would be abnormal and it was fine so she chose not to do a blood glucose test.

I go to the doc on tuesday...ya'll think I should fast JUST IN CASE she wants to do one?

What other symptoms of diabetes are there?
