Son has possible CF??????

Congrats on the new baby. We were actually told recently that for newborns a normal test is like 30-40 and the 60 is for adults.Our son is 3 1/2 months old. Our son was a 92 and did come back with very low pancreas function. When we had the sweat test we had a Dr. appointment with the pulminary Dr. a few hours after the test to discuss the results and they had come back by then. Our sweat test was just confirmitory though as on the newborn screen they saw two mutated genes, I don't know if that makes a difference in results time. Our son seems fine as well but CF is an internal disease and without the tests you may not know for awhile. You will find lots of support and help on this site so please let us know how things turn out.

UPDATE
So we are all set to go to Denver next monday. Went in today to get my blood drawn Figured if i knew before i went i would have a better grasp on the answer after the sweat test. I have great moments of clarity where everything is good and what happens happens. Although Through out my carreer I always expect the worse so that nothing can surprise me but this is different I feel as though I keep getting my hopes up to high. Been reading alot about the pre screening test for newborns, lot of stats out there the odds are in my sons favor (and mine).
Also on another note I have met a mutual freind who has CF he is 38 just had lung transplant says he feels better than he ever has. Fealt good to know he was happy. Thank you all for the replys I will let all know the results when i find out. Thanks again

I have great moments of clarity where everything is good and what happens happens.
