Spacing between kids

Mine are 7 years a part because the first one was unplanned and the second one took longer to concieve than we'd planned. We are tossing aorund the idea of one more (but I am not sold on it yet) and if that is the case we would start trying probably right around the time the baby is a year old - making the kids somewhere around 2 years aaprt if conception goes easily. I am definitely DONE after that (but I might be done now, we'll see!).

I have all of the same questions as you!
My daughter will be 2 years old in Sept. We have been TTC since her 1st Bday. It looks like we will be doing IUI this month. My health is great (KNOCK ON WOOD) now and I feel pretty confident that getting pregnant in the next few months is best for our family. I had a check up a few weeks ago and my PFT's were 87% which is right where I was just prior to getting pregnant with my daughter. There are still times I think there is no way I can handle a toddler and a newborn but I also cannot see waiting as I would like about 2.5 - 3 years between the siblings. Of course all of this is my plan, I know that things do not always work out the way I think they should but in the end things always work out perfectly!
Good luck to you!!

Wanderlost - My DH always used to say that he would like 3 children but I always said that 2 would be my limit because I do not want to push my body too hard. DH is fine with 2 and never brings up 3. Now that we are TTC #2 I keep thinking about #3, WEIRD! I have not mentioned a third to DH as we have to see if #2 happens and how that goes.

Thanks girls!

After discussing it over the weekend, I think we've decided that I'm just going to "try" get pregnant after my next clinic appointment or shortly afterwards. If my PFT's are still hovering around 85% then I will be confident enough to go through with a pregnancy.

Unfortunately we have no family around...the closest is 1-1/2 hours away. So not a whole lot of help. But I think we can manage pretty well.

Nicole- yes, it is very awesome being able to have two of us to carry children!!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> We are also in the same situation as you...attempting to move into a house and me possibly changing jobs. But I figure it will all work out in the right order.

Thanks everyone!
