Sphynx Kitten?

Hi. We have animals and the doctor told us that they would not be a problem for a CF baby. So, I would think unless she truly has allergies, it doesn't matter what type of cat she gets. FYI: I'm a vet tech and while the sphynx cats are quite ugly, they are extremely sweet cats :)

We have a 17 pound hairy cat and my daughter has never had any problems and so far no problems with our infant either. My 4 year old has always laid all over our fat cat. They are really good friends! Do you know she is allergic? Good luck...hope she enjoys the cat she gets! They can always make you smile and feel comforted when nobody else is around!

We dont know of any allergies to any animals yet. I am just more nervous of the fur/shedding being around her and her breathing it in. For the simple fact that her lungs are bad enough as it is. I dont need the mucus to be grabbing the little fur particals and getting trapt in her lungs. So that is my reasoning behind getting a furless cat because there is nothing that can get in her lungs and "clog" her up more than she already is.
