Beef erky is awesome for salt and protein! Now I want some! Haha!

You might want to have her checked. I am all about being on the safe side, strep can cause all kinds of other problems if its not treated. I'm sure you would not let it go long enough for that to happen but it would be better to start getting her treated now if she needs it.

I decided to have Maggie strep screened today. She woke up this morning and the first thing she said is her throat hurt. THe rapid strep test came came negative; yeah! They are going to let the culture grow out and I'll call back in 2 days to see if strep grows out, but looks like it most likely is a cold causing her sore throat. The doc did say she had a few red spots on her throat/tongue but for right now it's probobly just a cold/virus. A good thing is that I had to see a different doc in the practice today cause Maggie's usual doc was too busy. It was the first time he's seen Maggie and we both agreed it's good we met so he gets to know her. I actually liked him and I'm so picky about docs so that's good! So something good came out of the visit. Maggie sees her usual CF doc onTuesday for her 3 month check and PFT"S so I'll fill him in and hospefully Maggie will feel better by then. Thanks for everyone's support, I needed it. I was getting so irritable my husband came home for lunch so I could go for a run(which is like my drug<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">) I feel better now.
