This shouldn't be anything new -- how else would they have known in the past how to go about treating your MRSA and cepacia. And they should be able to see if something grows from whatever mucus you bring up, even from just a throat culture.

I found out that I did not cough up lung junk. so now they have to do the test all over again. and go down into my lungs to get good junk for the test I was mad.</end quote></div>
I dont find this possible. How can they tell where its coming from? IF they could then it would save many peoople a lot of hassle at times........

Yeah... I agree. Where else would you be coughing stuff from? I mean I know that PND can give you stuff in your throat by with a good cough I'm sure that it would be growing something if you were growing it in your lungs IYSWIM.
