I forgot to mention, on my paperwork they do limit the amount of
money you can have in the bank etc. If you have land, savings,
cd's, etc. Hence I am unsure of getting married in the traditional
sense. I do not want to lose what medicaid coverage I have.<br>

My elderly mom was receiving SSID, and then qualified on my dad's
SS, but they just took her SSID and cut it in half and gave her
back the difference on the SS, albeit an extra $20. She is covered
by Medicare (which has no pres. limits and she can get all sorts of
breathing machine stuff/diabetic stuff) and the medicaid which
covers any lingering costs. I guess they were afraid that if she
made 900 a month instead of 600, she would just tour the world and
live "high on the hog" lol
