Starting Tobi early?

yep doxi is for staph/mrsa and the tobi covers your pa. if you treat the staph but not your colonized pa it will probably try to take advantage of th "open real estate!"

I don't have PA (well, I cultured it twice, once 8 years ago and once 6 years ago)-but have not cultured it since! I was just recently diagnosed with steno though...my doctor but me on the Tobi because he feels it is a good Staph drug and the doxy was not kicking my infections all of the way.

mu daughter's doctor told me thet Tobi was not a good Staph drug. My daughter had staph and was due to start her 3rd cycle of tobi for an earlier PA. Her staph was sensitive to Tobi but the Doc said it was not a staph drug and put her on Bactrim on top of tobi.

Of course I am not a doctor and have no clue who is right, just thought I would mention it.
