Staying regular

Just wondering what everyone else does to stay regular and keep from getting constipated. I find that the Creon tends to make me more constipated, plus with age it's more of a problem that it used to be.

What do you all do to "keep your pipes open"?

OOO, what an embarrassing topic! But glad someone brought it up, I have had serious issues myself. I finally bought myself some Citrucel at Walmart. I take one every day, sometimes two.

I am not diagnosed or tested for cf actually but all my symptoms are the same. I eat yogurt everyday and a drink like that danactive stuff. I believe in probiotics and I think that has alot to do with how I have made it this far.
3 years ago I was told I needed to start thinking of getting a double lung transplant, I wouldn't accept that and I have been fighting ever since. In other countries they actually prescribe probiotics instead of antibiotics. So I went from eating yogurt about 3 times a week to every single day to help with the infections and digestive issues I had and it has helped me. Talk to your dr about it first of course.

I'm pregnant so right now its even more of a problem for me than usual. I eat lots of fruit and veggies. Prune juice when needed. I'm trying to do things as 'natural' as possible to avoid chemicals if I can.
First thing in the morning, a glass of something cold followed by a small cup of coffee. And things always 'get moving' pretty soon after that.
