I've read here that lots of people sterilize their nebs with a baby bottle sterilizer. What brands are the best (Nuk, Nuby, etc.) ? I want to buy the best one.

I have that one (Avent Phillips 3-in-1), recommended by people here. It works very well. I keep it, a papertowel holder + roll, and a jug of distilled water all in my bathroom. My plan had been to sterilize immediately after use, and let dry on a clean paper towel. My reality is that I sterilize right before nebbing, shake out excess water and use. My NeilMed bottle gets suspiciously floppy from the high heat, but turns out fine. My aerochamber/spacer for my inhalers, well, less successful: the mouthpiece warped from the heat but is still usable.

I have the same brand, although mine appears to be an older model. I've used it for several years, and it works great. I have a great set up for treatments and all my equipment, with everything in one place. As I do my nebs, I wash each one and place it on the sterilizer tray thing. That way, when I finish the last one, I just pop it in the machine and turn it on. It's a 6-minute cycle but stays sterile for 6 hours, or you can set it to run every 6 hours for 24 hours.

I recently began using a Nuk sterilizer that Foundation Care sent me. It is easy to use. Rinse the nebs, put the parts in the tray and turn it on. Sometime later, I'll take the parts out and let them air-dry on a paper-towel. I don't want them sitting there wet until my next use, really. The bottom is easy to clean, too; I just wipe it out with a paper towel after each use.

The Advent is the best!! Definitely use distilled water each time u sterilize to keep ur machine running smoothly.
