Just a little update, I've had all the tests the cf dr wanted so far. I called his office Friday and didn't hear back, called again today and his receptionist said he would be in briefly today then he was away for the rest of the week. Through my family doctors office I found out I failed the methacholine challenge with a 'moderate reaction' and also I have metabolic acidosis and respiratory alakosis (with a note saying they are not sure what is the nature of the primary disorder) ??? Still wAiting on the genetic results, it looks like the doctor is waiting for all results to come in before trying to put together what is going on and filling me in. It's been just over 6 weeks so I am hoping answers will come soon. Thanks.
