If you had no federal income tax liability for 2007, you would have received $300 per adult with at least $3,000 in income, plus $300 per child for a total of $1,500. If, after earned income credit (assuming you qualified) and the child tax credit for all 3 kids you still had some income tax liability, then you should have received more. It's based on both income </b>and</b> income tax and it looks at each adult seperately. If you had no federal income tax liability for the year, you receive the smaller amount ($300/adult) vs. the higher amount. You should receive a statement in the mail.
