Strange pain in lung

For about 10 days now I've had a weird pain in my right lung-on the side of my rib, (like 6 inches straight below my armpit).

Here's my recent history:About 1 month ago I began having streaking/mild blood in my mucus. This is new for me, I've had it once or twice before but very very slight. I had increased cough so I started Ceftin, extra chest pt-the works. 2 weeks of Ceftin and I feel great. If mucus can be beautiful-my mucus is beautiful! Clear, thin. My cough is gone. I have no exacerbation.
But halfway between my exacerbation of a few weeks ago, I started getting this pain. It comes and goes. Its not sharp, its like an ache. Almost feels like a burning torn muscle feel and it kind of radiates. (if that makes sense)
I can't tell if its my lung, or if its above it, like a bone or muscle or a nerve. It gets worse if I'm sitting down or laying down, I notice.
I do not think I broke a rib or anything-its not constant, or sharp, and its not getting worse, it just won't go away.

Its the weirdest pain. During my sickness this month, I was coughing really hard. I wonder if its possible I torn a muscle or strained something-even something inside my lung?

I don't know...Any thoughts????
(its also weighing on me bc I am pregnant...to throw in a little complication there!! can't just go get an x-ray!)

Have you been tested for pregnancy related diabetes? Burning pain can be caused by diabetes. If this continues, I would see my doctor.

Its possible you may have just strained a muscle from coughing. Is there any over the counter pain reliever you can take that has worked? (I'm not sure what you can have seeing as you're pregnant) I recently had problems with lots of lung/rib pain but it turned out I had a bad exacerbation. Hope you find some relief soon and continue to have a healthy pregnancy!
