Hey i know a lot of people with CF register with Students With Disabilities in college. I am registering and it asks for specific accommodations. I included a central dorm for less walking in the freezing cold, extra make-up time/ absence forgiveness for hospitalizations and doctors appointments, class selection priority to accommodate specific times for therapy (IVs, vest, nebs, etc.). I am not requesting a single room as I found a roommate who understands my situation. Is there anything else you included/ think I should include?

I don't know if this is included under the heading of makeup time, but specifically enabling you to take exams at other times (some professors don't like to be accomodating with this) and giving you copies of notes or tutoring. There is usually some tutoring center anyway. This can be helpful for missing math concepts, etc. Also, go and see your professors with problems. I didn't do this until near the end of a class when I was almost drowning (I had not registered with the Students with Disabilities.) and my professor asked why I didn't ask for help soon. I guess I didn't want to feel different. Anyway, good for you for registering up front! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Rights to on campus parking or a disabled parking spot if you want to go that far. Otherwise Freshman may have to park in a lot off campus - not sure on the specs of your campus.

I dont know what your dorms are like but, at my school their is one buidling that is a lot nicer/new/cleaner. If thats your case, or if you can find out if you dont know, i'd request that one. Also, we dont have elevators so if i could have requested it I wouldve asked for a second floor room (not underground).

hope this helps!
