Hello!

I graduated in biology and biochem. The job market is awful right now. Also, I'm wary to get a job that pays too much (IF I could find one) because then I"ll lose medicaid/SSI.

SO time to go to grad school. I've looked into programs in the US, but I think I would prefer to go to school in Europe, specifically Scandanavia, specifically Denmark, specifically University of Copenhagen. I'm open to schools in Norway as well, maybe other places. I'm looking up resources online, and they're helpful, but I was wondering if anyone with CF could give me some advice, or knowledge? Anyone from/living in Europe with CF? How's the coverage and care?

Really, any help at all would be great.
You said Scandinavia was a place of interest. My doctor is Swedish and she says that although Cystic Fibrosis is rare in Scandinavia, the treatment is very good because they emphasize prevention instead of treating an infection once it has set in... add on the fact that healthcare is free there... I think Sweden would be better. Denmark i'm not too sure about, I'd have to do more research.

I'd love to go to Sweden, but they just added tuition. They want $50K for a masters program. Denmark wants $10K, and tuition is free in Norway.

Of course, after I go to school and naturalize in scandanavia, I can travel freely between them. There are special laws that allows Scandanavians access to each country.

i also have heard very good things about the care in Sweden. As for Denmark, they are very agressive with treating pseudo, basically you go on IVs every 3 months regardless of your symptoms. They also have a very high life expectancy, the word is still out on whether this is due to their treatment regimen or other factors.
