stupid question

My sn got a new holding chamber/mask for his inhaler, this one cannot be boiled. I have been soaking it in alcohol for 5 min then rinsing with sterile water. My question is, can I only use the alcohol one time, then have to throw it out? Or can you pour it into some sort of tupperware type container and use it a few times to soak the chamber before discarding? I'm going through a lot of bottles of alcohol here!

Hi Amber!

Unfortunately, I was told you can not even reuse it once. I thought it might be strong enough to reuse it at least a few times but no. And yes you will go thu alot of bottles and cash! Sorry to not have good news. What about just pouring boiling water over it but not letting it sit? Good luck to you!

My suggestion would be the same as katie....The kids very rarely use an inhaler, but when they do, I boil all there nebs and pour the boiling water over the chamber.
Blessings,
Missa
