Missa,

Thank you for letting us know about the hemp protein. My doctor has told me in the past to eat crushed hemp seeds but since they were pretty expensive, I take chia seeds instead which aren't as good. I had no idea that there was a Hemp protein powder.

BTW, I was talking to somebody in The Vitamin Shoppe the other day, who was a weightlifter and was under a doctor's care who seemed to know all about body building and nutrition. His doctor told him not to take whey because it raises inflammation in the body. I have never heard of this and don't know of it's validity, but I thought I'd throw it out there, in case any one knows anything about this. This particular guy recommended egg protein powder like James suggested. My boyfriend ended up buying Healthy N 'Fit egg protein which is sweetened with stevia. He said the strawberry Passion flavor is great.

I personally use soy powder, but I don't think this is great for men or kids because of all the phyto estrogens.
