I don't really have any advice but I just wanted to say that I really admire you. I will be honest and don't do my medicine nearly as well as I should and if my machine broke I just wouldn't do my medicine for those days. I read you post and it just really got to me about how much more dedicated I really should be. I know it and yet I still don't do it. But then it made me think of the people out there who don't have machines, either for a few days or for longer, and here I am having a perfectly good one so it is selfish of me not to use it.

I hope you find an answer and thanks for your post

Have you checked with the Home Healthcare places and see if they rent them? When mine died, the homehealthcare place I bought it from gave me a spare to use. If you're really desperate, is there a health clinic or doctor's office nearby who would let you use, oh crud, brain fart , the air in the wall thingy...

Hi Laura,

My Pari Pro Neb Ultra1 died on me too last month. One morning it started making a very loud noise. The next thing I know it made a pop sound and the air no longer came through the tubing. Very frustrating, I agree. I ended up ordering a new Pari Pro Neb Ultra2 online and paid for next day shipping. I'm going to have insurance buy a new one since the previous machine was still under warranty. This way I'll have 2 machines which is very nice.

i figured my best option was to order a new Trek. they have a newer model out than the one i have, the S. i found a company with a great price--$68!!--and paid another $50 on top of that to have it overnighted to get here by wednesday.

i'm sure you already know this but Pulmozyme & TOBI are a no-no with the Trek
