Ok, I have harassed my wife for years as she is one on several other boards but my question is this:
This is the only board I'm on, I have been here 2 months and seem to spend a lot of time reading/browsing but have only 50 posts.
Yet some of you have crossed the 2-3K mark and simple math comes up with 10+ a day.
How do you do it? I think I'd have to just say hi on every post I read just to catch up!!!!!!</end quote></div>
I am fairly new here, and am a nocf, but I have been interested in the disease for several years. I befriended my firsdt friend with CF in fall of 2006.
But anyway, I try not to spam. Surely I would love to be one of those "superposters". Don't we all want to be part of the "popul;ar crowd" on some level?
But I am not a superposter. I exercise restraint, and don't post just to be seen. I post if I feel I have something to say. Certainly, at that point, I'd love to be quoted and responded to thoughtfully, but sometimes it's hard to crack into a conversation. Especially since CF has so many technical terms with it.
But...I have already had a PM welcoming me and acknowledging something I had said. That's always wonderful. This is a community. I want to be a part of it. But I just need to settle for posting to threads I know something about, or posting good questions that I genuinely want answered.
I wish you well, Just, and hope you do find your niche here (and me too!).
