swallowing enzymes

Hi everyone. I am just wondering.. at what age did your kids start swallowing enzymes? My daughter, who is 4, is still taking them in applesauce.. but now i think she is ready to start taking them whole, i just can't seem to get her to do it. She has tried a bunch of times, but usually they will start dissolving in her mouth before she can even get it down and then the pills come out and she wants nothing more to do with it.
I am wondering because she went to preschool last year (when she was 3) but it was a private pre-k. They are some homey and treat them as family there and i never had to worry about her teacher. She would call anytime she had questions, etc.
Now this year she is starting pre-k 4 year olds in the elementary school (it preps them for kindgarten when they turn 5). So things will be much different. I would like it if she could just start swallowing them (and boy would it be a load off of us having to lug everything else everywhere we go!!).
So, sorry so long, but i'm wondering if anyone has some really good suggestions on how you did it! Thanks!!

Ethan Sky just started swallowing his pills and you are right it is nice not to have to worry about lugging along everything for him.
Ethan Sky actually puts the enzyme in a straw and sucks it up along with water. I think it is easier because the pill is in the perfect position to go down his throat. We found a great cup with the straw attached at Walmart. When we go out and about I just carry around different diameter straws in my bag as he takes different sized pills.
We are now at the point that Ethan Sky just sticks the pill between his teeth and then sucks up some water. The other day he actually took 2 pills at a time.
If you want pics of how he does it with the straw I can send one to you.

We to were tired of lugging containers of applesauce and spoons with so one day we were eatting at OCB and just made him put them in his mouth and take a drink (he could take other pills already). He threw such a fit and people probley thought we were killing him but once it was done he realized it was easy, he was 4 or 5. He took 6 enyzmes if I remember right but we just gave 3 at first then the 2nd 3 went right down. Maybe put alittle juice in a cup and put the enzymes in that and have her drink it. That might be easier for her? Hope this helps.

He threw such a fit and people probley thought we were killing him but once it was done he realized it was easy, he was 4 or 5. He took 6 enyzmes if I remember right but we just gave 3 at first then the 2nd 3 went right down. Maybe put alittle juice in a cup and put the enzymes in that and have her drink it. That might be easier for her? Hope this helps.
