Sweat Test Back

The Nurse just called Sam's test was 18 on each arm. They said Negative. My husband is elated. I am going to let everyone enjoy Christmas but when we go back for his asthma check I am going to discuss genetic testing. He was tested at the CF clinic so maybe they are more reliable. Anything I need to know to support genetic testing when I speak to the Dr.

Here's wishing that you can set it aside enough to enjoy your family and the holiday season as well. I've never been sure why physicians would not recommend genetic testing when presented with medical history and evidence that low sweat scores CAN be present in CF patients. Also, if other things don't seem to help the patient recover. Best of luck to you.

just make sure you get the Full Panel Ambry genetic test to test for all possible cf genes <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
