Sweating

Thank you to everyone who's answered so far. The reason I am worried is b/c he RARELY EVER sweated before! This is a totally new thing. I am calling the pedi today. This, combined w/ the "migraines" that started a month ago, and the changes in mood in one day has me worried. I'm afraid he may be having trouble w/ his blood sugar.

Honestly, it sounds like a blood sugar thing to me. I sweat A LOT when my blood sugar gets too low, and I also get terrible night sweats if my blood sugar is not well controlled. I also have mood swings, lethargy and bad headaches if my blood sugars aren't stable. He should get an OGTT next time he goes in.

I'm so sorry that you have yet another new thing going on with your son! I know he's had so much that's been so hard to get to the bottom of over the last few years! Given that this is so out of the ordinary- especially for his teachers to have noticed it! -I would call his doctor and bring up your concerns. I hope they can figure out what's going on, especially since he's also having headaches.

Please let us know how he's doing.
