swine flu

Ok, so we leave in 3 days for Walt Disney World. We are flying out of BWI and I am completely going crazy now because of this swine flu thing. I was already nervous about flying with Luke, and now I am a total basket case.
I called our clinic and the nurse coordinator kinda hinted that we maybe should not go. We have other kids and we have not been on a vacation in 3 years and I just don't think I can do that to them. But on the other hand, I don't want to put Luke at risk.
I called the airline and they said they are taking extra precautions and that I can board the plane first and wipe down our seats and trays and things like that. Disney is also making sure that our room is really, really cleaned and disinfected before we arrive and during our stay. We are taking our own stroller. I have so much hand sanitizer we could bath in it.
I don't know what kind of advice I am looking for. I feel like such a terrible mother to even think about taking any chances at all. But then I feel like a terrible mother to disappoint the other kids as well. We have been looking forward to this trip for so long and I feel like the kids are growing up so fast and our lives have been so crazy since Luke was diagnosed that I just wanted to have some happy memories finally.
Sorry for the vent session. I guess I was wondering what everyone else was thinking about this swine flu thing and what kind of precautions you are taking.
Thanks in advance!!

We are scheduled to go in 2 weeks and I'm worried as well.

But it is Micah's wish trip and we will be going unless someone stops us.

We will be vigilant with sanitizing, but going just the same.

I'd say be careful, but go have fun, you all deserve it.

This really scares me too. Isabelle was supposed to see her grandparents yesterday but we didn't send her because my MIL is a teacher and I didn't want to take any chances.

I did read that hand sanitizer is really good at killing any bacteria that could spreand the virus. I think using it after each ride is probably a good idea. Can you take some Clorox wipes with you to wipe down tables and such when you eat?

Good luck and have fun!

I have antibacterial wipes as well--for tables at restaurants and for the changing tables in the bathrooms (Luke is still in diapers) and for the airplane. I am hoping that maybe this is actually a blessing in disguise--if there is a health risk, airports and other public places are likely to be more vigilant in their cleaning efforts than they would have been otherwise. Which would actually make it safer for Luke. But I think I am just trying to make myself feel better.
Thanks for the encouragement. I think I just needed someone to say that it was ok to still go--I was feeling like a negligent parent, but my kids DO deserve this trip and I think that unless we are never going to leave this house again, there is going to be risk.
