Symbicort vs advair

Hey so wandering if theres any difference is these two?..cause if not maybe shmbicort would be better?..i almost kinda like the inhaler verse the powder ..but wanted to know if results will be just as good as in increasing the fev? I do also have flovent at home to not sure whats good way to go <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> wanted to see my cfers thought before i ask my doc!

The meds are similar enough that your heartrate issues may appear on symbicort like they did with advair.
I would expect similar PFT response from either as well.
This was years ago now, but I did not like the powdered form of advair and was very happy with my switch to symbicort. Nowadays you can get advair in non-powder form as well, but I haven't found any reason to change. I also did not like pulmicort in powdery form. I don't know what my problem was, but the powders seemed to give me a dry, itchy cough.
