Just FYI <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> , Advair is available in an HFA inhaler too- that's what I use, instead of the diskus with the powder. I started on that, but after a couple of years, it started to bother me (I dunno why). I can tolerate the inhaler just fine <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> .

I started the inhaler form 2 months ago & feel a huge difference. I had the disk for a few years & tho I got some relief I didnt get the full benefit. I wasnt able to get the powder in my lungs. It ended up on my tongues for in my throat. HUGE difference with the inhaler.......

I started the inhaler form 2 months ago & feel a huge difference. I had the disk for a few years & tho I got some relief I didnt get the full benefit. I wasnt able to get the powder in my lungs. It ended up on my tongues for in my throat. HUGE difference with the inhaler.......

Today is day 8 on Symbicort. I can tell a little difference, but not as much as when I was on Advair. I think I'm going to call my doc today and see if she can switch me back to Advair.
