Tears leaving white lines?

Andrew's tears always leave white salty streaks down his face. Also, whenever he gets exercise or plays outside on a hot day, his perspiration dries in white salty streaks down the side of his face, and salt crystals form around his hairline. His sweat test results were high. At two months of age they were 120.

Yep, both my girls get white lines from tears. Both girls sweat tests results were over 100.

This happens to me all the time. Whenever I cry or sweat, it leaves white streaks. I also wipe my eyebrows, nose, and chin a couple times a day because white crystals will collect there. I used to think it was embarrassing, but now I'm used to it. I think what other posters said is correct, it depends on how high your sweat test numbers are. Mine were really high.
