I am thankful for all of the memories I have of my son! and for the people I have met on this site who have helped me through his death. I am especially thankful for the family I still have around me!! If Josh taught me one thing, he taught me to appreciate what I do have! Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Kathy, I am so glad to see you here. I am thankful to you and the others that have helped me through the initial shock of the word "cystic fibrosis." I know it is hard with the empty plate at the table, but you are one of the people here who has touched my heart. I wish you a blessed Thanksgiving.

I am thankful for so many things but 2 are at the top, one is that I am still alive and the other is that God sent a woman as wonderful and understanding as my wife into my life.

Off the top of my head, I'm thankful for (Finally) finding a job before the end of the year!!

I'm also thankful for the idea to cut down the "interraction" with the MIL, by serving her meals in her own room!!! (She eats alone...YEAAaaa, with nobody else...and when she eats alone, she prefers to be by herself..YEAAaaaAAAH!)
The past three weeks with little to no arguments! That woman is now seen, but not heard!

I will soon be thankful for my thanksgiving meal (I'll have to make it on Saturday) because I got my first paycheck today, and can go out and get that full chicken to stuff with cranberry sauce and Liz's recepe for stuffing!

Perhaps, most of all, being thankful that my life is going back on track, or so I hope!

Of course, I'm still thankfull that everyone here is available for everyone here, and i try to be available for everyone here who wants me to be available for everyone here...did everyone get that?

Lynda here...
I'm thankful for many things
Like Luke said...still being alive is a huge one
All that God has allowed me to have
My family
My freedoms & those that sacrificed so I could have them
All of you here, of course
There are many others, but enough sappiness for now.

I've been a member and a silent reader in the forum for quite some time now, but I finally decided to break my silence to wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving and to share what I am most thankful for today.

Among so many things for which I am thankful, I am most thankful my boyfriend Steve, better known around here as TCNJcystic. I am thankful for the immeasurable joy he's brought to my life since the second he walked into it. I'm thankful for his love and support and for his never ending confidence in my abilities. I'm thankful for the inspiration he is to me and to everyone who knows him, not because he has CF but because he's not afraid to live life to the fullest and encourage others to do the same -- CF or no CF. I'm thankful to be dating the only guy I've ever known to notice the smell of the air (and roll the car windows down in 30 degree weather to better appreciate it) as well as the only [straight] guy I've ever known to take pride in singing all the high parts of the Rent soundtrack (again, with the car windows rolled down... so others can better appreciate it!). I'm thankful for his health and his happiness. I'm thankful for the best friend that gives me a reason to fall more in love with him every day.

I love you, kiddo.

Well, I suppose that's enough sap out of this tree for one sitting. Happy Thanksgiving to all and to all a good night!
