The funness of polyps

I have a nasal polyp in my left nostril. It has been there since I was 17, and it grows and shrinks as it likes. If i tilt my head up and look into my nose, i can see it looking back at me at the very back of my nose.

Since i began using O2 in June, i have gotten nose bleeds. I know that the O2 can dry your nose out so I know that it is attributing to them. However, when i get these nosebleeds, it's always out of the left nostril and i'm wondering if my polyp is irritated by it (if i stick my finger up there i can touch it, but i don't spend my time sticking my fingers up my nose so don't worry).

Is it possible that the O2 is drying my polyp out and making it bleed?

Yes O2 can contribute to nose bleeds. Did you doctor tell you about using a humidifier to add to your o2 tank at night?

I had my nasal polyps removed after tx. I had a few tiny ones.

I am thinking that if your left nostril has more deviation then the right side then it is possible to be a contributing factor to your nose bleeds. Have you visited a specilist in the ear, nose and throat dept at your hospital?

Have you tried irrigating your sinuses with saline? Sounds to me like if you have a weak side to your sinuses, then it makes sense to have trouble on that side more than the other because of the pressure that the polyp is contributing to.
