o how i dont like change, especially when it comes to a med i am used to. I hope my pharmacy doesnt change my inhaler to the new one, but i am guessing eventually they will. UUUUGGGGGGGG

This has been going on for several years in the states. The FDA orginally wanted to ban fluorocarbons before 2000, but no one really complied so they couldn't enforce it. Many companies with new drugs just went to a DPI, dry powder inhaler, rather than using a propellant at all. As for it not working as well...it really shouldn't make a difference. I have noticed that the spray is slower so actually it should be more effective for those who don't use a spacer.

I don't have a spacer, so maybe I should get one. I'm trying to inhale really slow and alllow a minute between puffs to see if that helps.
