So i talked to the Ped. and basicly its a virus bug and we just gotta let it run its course. she said the runny nose and the runs arent connected. i guess just an added bonus for us all. so im onto the brat diet lots of gatorade and waiting it out. thanks for the help

We had a similar experience when DS was a few months old. He had the runs, but his tummy looked hard and he decreased on his feedings. We'd taken him for his 4 month check at the CF clinic and his doctor ordered a chest xray due to air trapping and decided he wanted an abdominal one as well. Turns out DS WAS consitpated. So it DOES happen. We ended up giving DS milk of Max as per the doctor to clean him up.

He DID at one time get a stomach virus and that was pretty much PURE liquid. Bleah, poo leaking out the sides of the diaper. Drove me nuts when ds was a baby because I never quite knew if it was a constipation issue, need for more enzymes, teething, stomach bug.. Gets better when they can tell you what's going on.
