Has anyone used the vest while pregnant? Is it safe? My CF clinic says it is, but i wanted to get other opinions...thanks!

I used it my entire pregnancy. Towards the end I just left the bottom part unhooked. You can also call your vest company and get a chest vest which is just a band for around the upper part of you towards the end.

Starting at about 34 weeks I noticed my vesting would start up contractions, but they never did anything because I was induced at 38 weeks and ended up having a c-section because my pelvis apparently was way too small to fit a baby through. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif" border="0">

Wishing you a healthy pregancy!!!

The majority of us used this vest called the "chest vest" once we were too big for the full vest. I have not heard of anyone having any complications from use of the vest since joining this site in 2006. This is me...

I'm using it right now! I'm 5 months and the vest doesn't bother me at all. I used it for my first pregnancy also.
I have the chest vest too, much easier than the regular vest.
I can't imagine using the regular vest with a big belly..ugh.
If you call your center they can get you a chest vest right away.
