I guess this is just a random poll...how often do you do the Vest when you are well/when you are sick?
I do the Vest 2x a day when well and 3x a day when sick, at least I try.

when kait is not sick she does the vest 2-3 times daily and when she is sick she does it 4 times daily, granted i know that 4 times does seem like quit a bit for some of you but she knows that it is only for her own good, she normally doesn't mind it too much because she gets to watch her fav. shows, or play the playstation and now she can even do her vest and be on the computer. Also if her friends are visiting they sit with her.

I do the vest once a day( 20-45 minutes) , in the morning a little after i wake up. If i am not feeling well or i am really congested ill do it two times a day.

I have never done the vest. I went from postrual drainage(sorry on the spelling) to the Flutter. I LOVE the flutter, it is small, portable and so easy to do. I do it 2-3 times when feeling well, mostly 2 times. When I am sick, I do it 4 times up to 5 times in a 24 hour period. I do not have a gunky cough, mine is really dry and soooo hard to get up. Does anyone else have that dryness? Or is everyone fairly congested and gunky and loose???

I know Im wrong, But I hardly ever do the vest, maybe once a day when I am sick. It really bothers me though. I live in a small house so I keep it in a corner in my bedroom, it's just kind of inconvieniant. I really dont see a difference though in my health

We dont have vests where im from. I was wondering how exactly they work?
Do you have to make a concious effort to do a series of breaths and coughs and stuff or does it just make you cough wheither you want to or not?

I do autogenic drainage (spelling??) which is basically a series of shallow and deep breaths and "huffs". I get up a lot of stuff like this but I imagine the vest as a lifejacket which shakes like a playstation controller (Ive never seen one :) ) and I think that it would have to shake you about ALOT before it would have the same effect as other techniques. Anyone care to enlighten me??
