Now there are a few versions of the vest out. Mine is from Hill Rom & cost around $12,000.00 which was covered by insurance. They had to "lease" it to me initially then when the purchase price was reached I was able to keep it. This is American dollars btw!

I'm thinking they are in the $14 - $16,000 range. We are currently fighting with the insurnace company to get it covered -- in the meantime Hill-Rom still provides the vest to use, use, use !

If insurance coverage is not a possibility you can watch for them on ebay -- they do show up there occationally -- a lot of people without CF have had them prescribed for use and then no longer need them.

My son got one about 2 months ago. It was just over $16,000 and was a HillRom product.
