Hey-
Oh what a good idea! Very touching. Mine is "Too Much Rain" by Paul McCartney.
It's about people that go through tremendous difficulties in life, and alot of them. And how some people seem to get more than their share.

Laugh when your eyes are burning
Smile when your heart is filled with pain
Sigh as you brush away your sorrow
Make a vow that it's not gonna happen again

It't not right, in one life,
Too much rain

You know the wheels keep turning
Why do the tears run down your face?
We used to hide away our feelings
But for now tell yourself it won't happen again

It's not right, in one life,
Too much rain

It's too much for anyone
Too hard for anyone
Who wants a happy and peaceful life?
You've gotta learn to laugh

Smile, when you're spinning round and round
Sigh as you think about tommorrow
Make a vow that you're gonna be happy again

It's all right,
In your life,
No..more...rain.

I heard that song when I was teetering on almost recovering in therapy and dealing with my emotional issues. And it really did help me. It is my anthem. And it reminds me to move on, and remember that I've had enough, and I can have a happy life with no more fear.

Tanks for reading! Luv!<img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0">

Theme song for right now... In My Daughter's Eyes by Martina McBride

In my daughter's eyes
I am a hero
I am strong and wise and I know no fear
But the truth is plain to see, she was sent to rescue me
I see who I want to be, In my daughter's eyes.

In my daughter's eyes,
Everyone is equal, darkness turns to light
And the world is at peace.
This miracle God gave to me
Gives me strength when I am weak
I find reason to beleive
In my daughter's eyes.

And when she wraps her hand around my finger
Oh it puts a smile in my heart
It suddenly becomes a little clearer
I realize what life is all about

It's hanging on when your heart has had enough
Giving more when you feel like giving up
I've seen the light
It's in my daughter's eyes.

In my daughters eyes
I can see the future
A reflection of who I am and what will be.
And though she'll grow and someday leave,
Maybe raise a family
In my eyes I hope you'll see how hapy she's made me.

I'll be threre, in my daughter's eyes.

mine in Castles made of sand by Jimi Hendrix

down the street you can hear her scream you're a disgrace
as she slams the door in his drunken face
and now he stands outside
and all the nieghbors start to gossip and drool
he cries" oh girl you must be mad
what happend to the sweet love you and me had?"
against the door he leans
and starts a scene
and his face, tears fall and burn the green garden

and so castles made of sand
fall into the sea eventually.

A little indian brave who, before he was ten,
played war games in the woods with all his indian friends
and he built a dream that when he was grown
he would be a famous indian warrior chief

many moons pasted and the dream grew strong
tomarrow he would sing his first war song
and fight his first battle
but something went wrong
supprize attact
killed him in his sleep that night

and so castles made of sand
falll into the sea eventually

there was a young girl
who's heart was a frown
'cause she was crippled for life
and couldn't speak a sound
and she wished and prayed to stop livin'
so she decided to die

she took her wheelchair to the edge of the shore
and to her legs she smiled
"you won't hurt me no more"
but then a sight she had never seen made her jump and say
"look a golden wing ship is passing my way
and it really didn't have to stop
it just kept on going

and so castles made of sandslip into the sea eventually

this is my favortie song. It might not be the theme song of my life but I just thought I would share it with you. its called thats the way it is by celine Dion.
I can read your mind and I know your story
I see what you're going through
It's an uphill climb, and I'm feeling sorry
But I know it will come to you

Don't surrender 'cause you can win
In this thing called love

When you want it the most there's no easy way out
When you're ready to go and your heart's left in doubt
Don't give up on your faith
Love comes to those who believe it
And that's the way it is

When you question me for a simple answer
I don't know what to say, no
But it's plain to see, if you stick together
You're gonna find a way, yeah

So don't surrender 'cause you can win
In this thing called love

When you want it the most there's no easy way out
When you're ready to go and your heart's left in doubt
Don't give up on your faith
Love comes to those who believe it
And that's the way it is

When life is empty with no tomorrow
And loneliness starts to call
Baby, don't worry, forget your sorrow
'cause love's gonna conquer it all, all

When you want it the most there's no easy way out
When you're ready to go and your heart's left in doubt
Don't give up on your faith
Love comes to those who believe it
And that's the way it is

When you want it the most there's no easy way out
When you're ready to go and your heart's left in doubt
Don't give up on your faith
Love comes to those who believe it
And that's the way it is

That's the way it is
That's the way it is, babe
Don't give up on your faith
Love comes to those who believe it
And that's the way it is.

i love "this is life" by shannon noll

what r we waiting for there are no bells and no parades
no one to knock on ur door, there r no signs to show the way
all there is is what we have right now, we can act our way and we can fake it

this is it, this is life
and there's no breaks, no second takes to get it right
yeah this is life

what r we hiding from, maybe the mistakes we've made
why dont we make some more, life's gonna go on anyway
all we get is a moment in time, we could fall right now or we could make it

this is it, this is life
and there's no breaks no second takes to make it right
oh this is me, talkin to u
and all that counts is here and now and what we do
yeah this is life, this is life

everybody dies but not everybody lives
everybody takes but not everybody gives
every single day's another chance to take that ride

this is life........

One of my favorite songs

I'm a Survivor by Reba McEntire
I was born 3 months too early
The doctor gave my 30 days
But I must have had my mama's will
And Gods amazing grace
I guess I'll keep on livin
Even if this love's to die for
Cuz your bags are packed and I ain't cryin
Your walkin out and I'm not ryin
To change your mind
Cuz I was born to be
The baby girl without a chance
A victimi of circumstance
The one who oughta give up
Bust she's just too hard headed
A single mom who works 2 jobs
Who loves her kids and never stops
With gentle hands And the heart of a fighter
I'm a survivor
I don't believe in slef pity
It only brings you down
May be the queen of broken hearts
But I dont hide behind the crown
When the deck is stacked against me
I just play a different game
My roots are planted in the past
And though my life is changing fast
Who I am is who I wanna be
The baby girl without a chace
A victim of circumstance
The one who oughta give up
But she's just too hard headed
A single mom who works 2 jobs
Who loves her kids and never stops
With gentle hands and the heart of a fighter
I'm a survivor
Oh a single mom who works 2 jobs
Who loves her kids and never stops
With gentle hands and the heart of a fighter
I'm a survivor
But I must have had my mama's will
And God's amazing grace
I'm a survivor

the song 'lean on me' has always been a meaningful song for me. one of my best friends throws a fundraiser everyyear for CF, and one year she had one of her friends sing that song at it to me and everyone else. then we sang it in chorus the next year. i've always liked it, and the lyrics are nice <3

Sometimes in our lives we all have pain
We all have sorrow
But if we are wise
We know that there's always tomorrow

Lean on me, when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
'Til I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on

Please swallow your pride
If I have things you need to borrow
For no one can fill those of your needs
That you don't let show

Lean on me, when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
'Til I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on

If there is a load you have to bear
That you can't carry
I'm right up the road
I'll share your load
If you just call me

So just call on me brother, when you need a hand
We all need somebody to lean on
I just might have a problem that you'd understand
We all need somebody to lean on

Lean on me when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
Till I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on

Mary Chapin Carpenter - I Take My Chances

(mary-chapin carpenter/don schlitz)

I took a walk in the rain one day on the wrong side of the tracks
I stood on the rails till i saw that train
Just to see how my heart would react
Now some people say that you shouldn't tempt fate
And for them i would not disagree
But i never learned nothing from playing it safe
I say fate should not tempt me

I take my chances, i don't mind working without a net
I take my chances, i take my chances every chance i get

I sat alone in the dark one night, tuning in by remote
I found a preacher who spoke of the light but there was brimstone in his throat
He'd show me the way according to him in return for my personal check
I flipped my channel back to cnn and i lit another cigarette

I take my chances, forgiveness doesn't come with a debt
I take my chances, i take my chances every chance i get

I've crossed lines of words and wire and both have cut me deep
I've been frozen out and i've been on fire and the tears are mine to weep
Now i can cry until i laugh and laugh until i cry
So cut the deck right in half, i'll play from either side

I take my chances, i pay my dollar and i place my bet
I take my chances, i take my chances every chance i get
I take my chances, i don't cling to remorse or regret
I take my chances, i take my chances every chance i get
I take my chances

I take my chances

"Everyday is exactly the same" and"Only"by NIN
both seem to be fitting snugly these last few years. There not
really uplifting tunes so much, but then...there you have
it.Sometimes the best way to deal with a bad mood is to go with it
till it's over,or fan it till it burns out.

It would definetely be " Losing My Religion" for R.E.M.

Life is bigger
It's bigger than you
And you are not me
The lengths that I will go to
The distance in your eyes
Oh no I've said too much
I set it up

That's me in the corner
That's me in the spotlight
Losing my religion
Trying to keep up with you
And I don't know if I can do it
Oh no I've said too much
I haven't said enough
I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought I saw you try

Every whisper
Of every waking hour I'm
Choosing my confessions
Trying to keep an eye on you
Like a hurt lost and blinded fool
Oh no I've said too much
I set it up

Consider this
The hint of the century
Consider this
The slip that brought me
To my knees failed
What if all these fantasies
Come flailing around
Now I've said too much
I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought I saw you try

But that was just a dream
That was just a dream
