Things to be thankful for....

Hi all...I have been working from home this week and received an email today that really made me mad...but then I started thinking about how I'm glad that I have the option to work from home and that I CAN work....so I made a list of thie things I'm thankful for and thought I would share it with you since it made me feel better. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I am thankful for:

1. Another year spent with each of you.
2. My sister - for agreeing with me when I think mom is crazy! She has been a wonderful aunt/sister to my daughter and a great friend to me!
3. Being 36, about to be 37, and having a new perspective that is allowing me to wish for 40!
4. Being able to work. Sometimes it sucks, sometimes it rocks, but mostly, just that I am still able makes me happy.
5. My friends! Some of you I have known for only a short time and others for what seems like forever! But you have all impacted me and made my life better!
6. Finally getting tattooed...enough said!
7. Looking forward to another (tattoo).
8. For not fitting into my "skinny" jeans.
9. My brother. Or should I say "my crazy brother". He has been and continues to be the source of great laughter, even in the face of grave circumstance! I'd like to especially thank him for showing our family the way "Happy Birthday" should be sung!
10. My brother's fiancé. Thought it would take my brother longer to find someone to love as much. My brother seems so happy and seeing them together makes me smile and reminds me just how great love is.
11. Being able to laugh, both at others and myself - sometimes so hard I cry!
12. My grandma and the fact that she is finally getting hearing aids so that we can't talk about her anymore (well, at least while she's in the room! )
13. George Clooney. Nice eye candy.
14. My Dad - he took on the challenge of the "package deal" - me and my mom. He taught me the meaning of family and the power of a positive outlook.
15. Being able to cry - it means I am still here, still fighting, still caring!
16. My dog. She listens to the things I can't say to anyone else and keeps my feet warm at night.
17. My aunt. I am glad she's so interested in LOTR so that my daughter had someone to talk to about it!
18. Being angry. It gives me the strength the fight!
19. My Mom - supermom of all momkind! I don't know where I'd be without her. You don't know the meaning of strength until you meet her!
20. Being stupid. It makes me feel like a kid again most of the time, but sometimes, it just makes me feel stupid (see #11 above about laughing).
21. My husband, my best friend, and the saint of all saints. Where does he find the strength to put up with me? This past year has been trying for us both, but just when I think I have finally pushed him away, he is holding on even tighter than ever! I thank him for loving me in spite of all my faults. I thank him for loving and supporting our daughter! I love him for taking on the "package". I just love him.
22. For winning the lotto! Okay - so we've only won like $3, but a win's a win. I would be ever so thankful though if we were to win the jackpot!
23. My daughter. She is the greatest gift I have ever been given. I am thankful she still wants me around and will acknowledge me in public, despite my mistakes. She is just starting to spread her wings and I can't wait to see her fly!
24. For what has been, what is, and what might be. The ride has been great and I'm looking forward to seeing what's around the next curve! I just wish it wouldn't go so fast!
25. You, and you, and you , and you, and you..I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and has as much to be thankful for as I do!

(Sorry about the punctuation - I just edited so I hope it's easier to read now!)

I'm thankfull that I can once again breath, and that my health has never been as good as it is now. Of course I don't think I'd be where I was without my husband and family <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

My family (even my mom... ewwwww, shhh don't tell her)
Mike's family too, though they kind of fall under "my family" now
My room and bathroom being redone (my bathroom is going to have a toilet that works lol)
Picking out a pretty countertop color today
Christmas shopping!!!!!!
The fact that I can afford to Christmas shop
Tacos (had 'em for dinner tonight, breath still smells like garlic yummy mwahahaha)
THE MUPPETS!
Harry Potter (more the books than the movies, though) <3 <3
Pizza
Comfortable jammies
Somewhere to sleep while my room is torn apart (yay for Mike's couch!)
Orange juice (so frickin yummy)

And I'm sure there's more, but that's it for now. Hehehehehee.

I'm thankful that we were able to keep Austin out of the hospital for Thanksgiving. He would have gone in today but the doctors said he sounded good enough to keep out. He's still using triple antibiotics, but he's here...at home...with us, taking them. I'm sure there are many other things I should be thankful for, but right now, while in this deep depression, not many things stand out. Take care everyone, and have a Happy Thanksgiving.

I am thankful for my wife, her love is unconditional and she is the reason for my living.
I am thankful for my brother, through thick and thin he has always been there for me.
I am thankful for my friends, a loyal and fun bunch that keeps life exciting.
I am thankful for my in-laws, who care more about me then most of my own family.
I am thankful that my PFT's were 57% last time, at least they weren't 56%.
I am thankful for my faith, I lost my way for a while but feel good about being back in gods graces.
I am thankful for my job, a flexible job with great employees that cover for me while I am off.
I am thankful for many things but life is what I cherish the most.

have a happy thanksgiving and tell someone how very much they mean to you.

I am thankful for...

My kids. Without them I'm sure I would be a lost soul or a complete corporate junkie.
For Cale's overall good health this year.
For my in-laws. Without them, my kids wouldn't know what grandparents are.
My husband
My friends
The ability to laugh
My daycare families-their flexibility and understanding of our family and their trust in me to care for and love their kids.
My sister, she is my best friend, and pretty much the only one in my family that I can talk to without pulling my hair out!
Coffee in the morning, and not that fu-fu stuff-...good, strong, black coffee!
My health and the patience it takes to be home with my kids.
My computer. Without this site, I would be relying on an old medical book and left feeling hopeless!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Oh where do I start. I tend to take things for granted since my life is really pretty good so this time of year I put a whole hearted effort into being thankful for the stuff that I do take for granted......

I am thankful
for my husband for without his love, patience and guidance I wouldnt be where I am
for my mother and her love, wisdom, support and advice even when I dont ask for it
for my daughter to remind me to work hard on my health and the innocense that gets lost at times
for my home, pets and things that make me comfortable during good times and bad
for my aquantances that I can B.S. with and have no obligations
for my true friends and family that support me and are there when I need them even if I dont keep in touch as often as I could
for this forum and its disagreements, the laughter and the sorrow, the advice and the knowledge

Just to mention a few!
