Thinking of buying a generator

Ours is super quiet, much more so than the construction type generators.
We bought the smaller one with a handle for camping . . . it works great for treatments, hair dryers and can power a small fridge too.

Northern Tool is like a Harbour Freight. It's 'less expensive' and in some cases just as good. I've gotten some crap tools and some great stuff.

I find that buying from pawn, you only buy what you want to take full ownership of. You don't get a warrenty, so if it breaks, you have to pay to get it fixed. Buying something new, at least you have the warrenty, can buy an extended warrenty, etc.

Another place to look is construction sign companies. You know those big signs that they have at construction. Most of those are run on solar now, but they were converted from generators. So the company may have generators around that they will sell cheap or may even donate you one.

Cragslist.org, Ebay, internet, you have to be able to pay with a method by which you can ensure you get your money back if there is any issue! TOo many rip off artists out to make a quick buck.

You should be able to find a small engine repair shop that can do the conversion. Ask your local sears or lawn service guys who they use for engine repairs.
