HI IAM THINKING OF MOVING TO CF CENTER IN BIRMINGHAM AL.
GOING TO CF CENTER IN JACKSON MS. AS OF NOW BUT VISIT AL. CF CENTER YESTERDAY AND WAS IMPRESSED IF ANYONE GOES THERE OR HAS IMFO ON BIRMINGHAMS CF DOCTORS OR CENTER PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

Hi, my daughter goes to the pediatric CF center at Children's in Birmingham. We do like it very much. The staff (doc, nurse practitioner, nurse, rts, etc) are wonderful. It sounds like you may be talking about the UAB adult clinic and I have heard a lot of good things about it but have no personal experience. I have seen several on the forum post about UAB so maybe they will chime in. Good luck.

no it is for my grandson he is 1 yr. he saw dr gutierrez
yesterday. we live in meridian ms. long drive but i think it will be worth the drive

That will be quite a drive but I think you will be glad you changed. Dr. Hoover is Shelby's doctor. He is doing a great job with her. Lacrecia, the nurse practitioner, has been with us since diagnosis and she has held me together through some tough times. I can't say enough good things about Lacrecia. Shelby is involved in some clinical trials and sees Dr. Clancy for that. He and his staff are also wonderful. I hope you make the change and maybe I'll see you in the waiting room some day soon.
