Third Sweat Test

I hope you find answers for your child. IMO, still push for genetic testing because until you have extensive genetic blood testing, you really will not know for certain whether your child is in the clear.
If you recall, my child had a normal sweat test as well...

Ditto to what Liza said...my sweat tests were "negative" and 2nd set was border line...full genetic testing is the only way to know for sure <img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0">

Well her first sweat test was borderline, second came back qns third came back at values of 10 and 14... her genetic testing did not return a second gene mutation. It would seem until she shows more symptomology she will not get a diagnosis of cf. Hopefully we can move forward and do the very best for her for this time. Thanks again.

She had the genetic sequencing analysis they sent to genzyme, I don't know how much is covered with there analyis. I'm not exactly convinced she doesn't but that is what they tell me. There doesn't seem to be much we can do...for now. I didn't return any of the 97 mutations that genzyme checks for when doing carrier testing. My husband past the deltaf508. Not sure really of anything.
