Mycobacteria take about 6-8 weeks to confirm the tests.... They have preliminary results in a few days. At least thats what my culture results show.

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I HATE waiting -- the what ifs... Especially when they indicate there might be something else growing. Hopefully you'll find out soon and they'll be able to throw some good ABX at it to take care of it.
