This is how my appointment went today!

Chantel, I guess you can say that my secret is Hypertonic Saline 7% cause after I started taking this stuff my pfts have gone up, they always got higher eveytime I went to the doc, well except this time. I dont do much exercise, I also take pulmozyme and tobi and then my inhalers advair and combivent and the vest.

Luke, Your right, what was I thinking wanting to take oregano oil, I guess I was just too disperate. I will diffanatley tell my husband to be more optimistic.

I would be thrilled to have an increase like that. Like everyone else stated, i wouldnt worry about a 1% drop either. Chances are, next time you will get it back. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Congradulations Jennifer! <img src="i/expressions/rose.gif" border="0"> Excellent! I too love the HS. I have only been using it for 4 months and my FEV 1 is slowly but steadily creeping up. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

1% is nothing. My doc told me that it could be that I didn't let out a little extra breath. Besides, anything can go in to place when you drop. For example, People in texas have a hard time breathing b/c of the weather. One day the temp can be 85 degress and the next day the temp is 60 degrees. any one can not do well in their breathing because of the weather oor smog and etc. Does that make sense?

Does the Saline irritate your lungs or airways at all? I have tried
Tobramycin and Colistin and they irritated my lungs to the point
that I had to stop taking it.<br>
