Hey there!<br><br>I was just wondering what got you all started with taking/trying fizzy NAC? I've seen and read so much about it - the good stuff, the potential bad stuff, etc. I've been really curious to try it to see if it would benefit me at all. I've spoken to others that swear by it! Was it suggested to you by a pulmonologist, nutritionist, CF doc, etc. ? Did you guys just buy it and try it and find that you loved it? Have any of brought it up to your docs about it's benefits or side effects? I would like to try it but am considering bringing it up to my doc first. He's always been anti-natural remedy and anti-anything that didn't have a ton of drug studies and published scientific journals. Do these exist for NAC therapy or is NAC just one of those things that has randomly worked for many and spread like wildfire?<br><br>From what I've seen and read, it doesn't seem to be something that's prescribed (therefore it isn't covered by any kind of insurance). Is this the case or is it just cheaper to buy online even with insurance coverage?<br><br>And, just so I don't sound like an idiot, is there a difference between NAC and fizzy NAC or is one form just referred to as both/either?<br><br>Thanks!<br>
