Thousands Raised in First Breathe for CF Road Race

Hey Everyone,

Sunday was the First Annual Breathe for Cystic Fibrosis Road Race that my wife organized in honor of me receiving a double lung TX back in November. It was a 4 mile race and I finished it (without stopping! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> )

There were a lot of newspapers and the local news station aired a segment that night.

In all, there were 109 runners and everyone had a great time. People showed up to donate and support the CF Foundation and nearly everyone bought a tee-shirt that my wife designed to support the cause.

Pictures, videos, and results will be posted soon on the Breathe website. In the meantime, stop by the site and check out the cool shirts--they aren't the average cotton tee's you see at events. These shirts are being sold at the trendy fashion boutiques all around southern CT and the proceeds go to the CF Foundation.

Thanks!

Awesome job, Tim. Your wonderful wife must be quite the organizer/fundraiser, and you should be SUPER proud of running the race!

Huge thanks to both of you from the CF community! Keep up the inspiration...
