Tigacycline IV

I've been on Tigacycline IV for 3 weeks now and this past Saturday I got so dizzy that I fell right over flat to the floor. I have never had that happen before. Then again last night I got very dizzy twice! I looked up side effects and dizziness is a side effect of the medication.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

No, I haven't with this drug....just terrible nausea and vomiting for me. I would let your doc know about this though, just in case something needs to be tweaked.

Kristen, contact your doctor for sure. I know my kid had Tigacycline last hospital stay, but the CF doc said not to be on it past 10 days as often people with CF have more side effects to it at the 14+ day range. She said fever, nausea, loss of balance, etc could come.
