I didn't start to do nebulized treatments until my late 20's and I can only seem to tolerate Xopenex & Pulmicort. Yes, I can tell if I've skipped one of my treatments, especially if it's real humid out or something. This summer when it was 100+ out with high humidity I had to throw in an extra Xopenex treatment every day just to open things up.

I doubt that it is like an addiction. I'm sorry to say it but I think what you are noticing is the progression of your lung disease. Thankfully, tho, even as things progress the vest and CPT will loosen up mucus that you just can't get with a cough at this point.</end quote></div>

lol....I know it isnt an addiction, but i couldnt think of a better example to use to get my point across. And you are right, progression plays a big part in all of it.
I just liked it better when my own lungs did a fine job of their own. Now they seem to have gotten lazy and just rely on therapies to do what they used to do, all on their own. Thank God for the vest , percussors, flutters, acapellas, and whatever else we all have to arm ourselves with.
